Waiting upon The Lord is our Strength

But they that wait upon The Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint. – Isaiah 40:31

This verse is one of the beautiful verses which is preached during the new year.

1. But they that wait upon The Lord

The most important thing here is they that wait upon The Lord. Waiting on Jesus is important. Waiting upon Jesus is important to have our life filled with blessings according to the will of God.

These days many people don’t have patience they don’t wait on The Lord nor even seek The Lord. There is a difference in the life’s of people who wait upon The Lord and who don’t. Here the prophet says that those that wait upon The Lord. There is a clear contrast which is shown here. Those who and those who don’t.

Peter and his other disciples waited upon The Lord in the upper room and received Holy Spirit.  After they received Gods strength they were not the same again.

The question is who will wait upon The Lord?

Those who know the strength, power and might of The Lord will wait upon him. Those who are in troubles should wait upon The Lord. Troubles take us into side ways. Moving away from Jesus ways. Job waited upon The Lord. He waited upon the lord righteously. And god gave him double the portion of what he had.

Moses waited upon The Lord in Gods presence. And his face shone with brightness that people were not able to see his face. Moses covered his face with cloth. Waiting upon the lord will fill you with Gods glory.

Abraham waited upon The Lord and he was made father of nations. He waited upon the lord with faith and patience.

How will they wait upon The Lord ?

If we see Gods servants from Bible they waited upon The Lord, by walking in his righteousness. Job waited upon The Lord inspite of his wife asking him to curse god and die.

Abraham waited upon The Lord by keeping faith upon The Lord.

Today you might be thinking that I am lost in my way, Judgement is passed on me by God. I will not be fruitful.

2. Renew their strength

Those who wait upon The Lord, there is no doubt they will renew their strength. Early church waited upon The Lord. They were focused, they walked in the way of The Lord Jesus Christ. They continued steadfastly in apostles doctrine and fellowship and in breaking of bread and in prayers. They renewed their strength in The Lord and they spread out. There were persecutions but still they waited upon The Lord and they were renewed in strength.

Apostle Paul Waited upon The Lord for 3 years. And God renewed his strength. Renewed his strength in the right direction. To preach the gospel to the then known world.

If we wait upon The Lord and thank god for what he has done. God will renew our strength. If we wait upon The Lord walking in his ways, reading his truth that is the word of god, we will renew in our strength.

What is renewing in strength?

For us our strength is renewed in spirit. Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Father, son and the Holy Spirit will come and dwell in us and renew our strength.

Utter these words – “The spirit in me is very powerful. The Holy Spirit which is in me is very powerful. It gives me strength in my life.”

When our strength is renewed we will walk in the way of The Lord. We will walk by defeating the enemy.

We are weak in flesh but strong in spirit. For my strength is made perfect in weakness. 2 Cor 12:9

Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. – Hebrew 11:33,34

3. They will mount up with wings as eagles.

Now those who wait upon The Lord and renew their strength will mount up with wings as eagles.

God rescued Israel from Egypt and brought them out with an eagles flight. – Exodus 19:4

God renews our youth as that of eagle – Psalms 103:5

Say that – “We are all eagles that fly high”. Our wings in this world to fly high is Gods strength. Eagles need wings to fly high. Their wings are different than other birds so that they can fly high. Our wings are also different than other people. We are equipped with Gods strength. Gods strength is our wings to fly high. He will take us to greater heights. Don’t give up hope. Right now our Hope in our God might be new and it might not have a visible matter to look at. But our faith in Jesus is the evidence that our hope will not fail.

Jesus will make us fly high because we have his wings of salvation. When we have his wings of salvation he will take us into heaven.

4. Run and not be weary

When we run as per the will of our god then we will not faint. When we wait for The Lord and know the will of god, God will renew our strength to be weary not. When we have the strength of our lord our run to our goal will not be weary.

We will run a race to obtain the goal. During our ups and downs of life we should not be weary.

Paul’s life was a race run to achieve a goal. 1 Cor 9:26

5. Walk and shall not faint

Sometimes we have to run in our life’s and some times we have to walk. When we walk we should not faint. In our Happy Day’s our life seems to be running. In our difficult times days won’t move forward quickly.

Our walk should be a walk of patience.

Jesus won the Hearts of People

The minds of people can master many things. But God wants hearts of people. He wants the hearts of the people. Jesus came down to this earth to win the hearts of the people.

Many people with their minds might have won the minds of people. But Jesus with his heart touching words has won the hearts of people. To take these Souls unto heaven.

Many have mastered the minds of people but Jesus through his teachings has mastered the hearts of people to him. When Jesus looks at people he looks at the hearts of people.

Minds of people may get maximum knowledge but it’s the hearts discretion what is needed to figure out the truth. To differentiate between good and bad. Between the earthy things and heavenly things.

Mind thinks about earthly things but Jesus has transformed the hearts to think about heavenly things. And the heart directs the mind to think heavenly things.

Mind looks for wisdom, worldly wisdom but heart looks for heavenly wisdom, divine wisdom the wisdom which gives salvation to the mankind.

The teachings of Jesus touch the hearts of people and they transform the minds of people and turn the hearts of people to him.

The works of Jesus touch the hearts of people. Creation touches the hearts of the people and creation makes the mind to think that the heart and mind both come to God.

Jesus himself coming into this world dying on the cross has touched the hearts of the people. But the minds of some troubling them not to accept Jesus as a saviour. Jesus shedding his blood on the cross has touched the hearts of people.

The very acts of Jesus on the cross has transformed the heart of the thief and he repented for his sins on the cross. He was looking at Jesus with his heart full of sorrow and to get rid of sorrow of hell and to be in the heaven. The other thief who was on the cross was reading Jesus with his mind and he was not able to transform himself. He wanted a temporary relief from the current bondage which he had on the cross. But not eternal salvation. Mans mind is looking for temporal salvation.

I am fighting the devil with Gods word in my heart. And God wants to transform the hearts and minds of people. God wants to put his word in our hearts so that our heart can talk to the mind and transform the mind.

Stephen Hawking had a great mind but his heart was far from God. Mind might have knowledge but the heart lacks discretion to accept Jesus as a saviour.

Mind makes man to think that he is just a substance but God has put heart in man to know that he has a living soul in him. Mind wants to overtake hearts of people. But God wants to put his word in our hearts to overcome our mind.

Beatitudes of Jesus touches the hearts of people. Jesus has won the hearts and minds of many. Heart looks for truth mind looks for knowledge.

Fearing God and Obeying God

Man should fear God. Man should fear God and should obey Gods commandments.

The wrath of God would be kindled upon man one day. The dead man will also be judged when Jesus comes. Man should repent and he should repent for his sins. The real repentance in man will bring a change in man.

Repentance with tears. Repentance with deep broken heart. Repentance for his sins by asking Jesus to forgive. Only Jesus Christ can change our thoughts. Only Jesus Christ can change our minds.

Only Jesus Christ can turn our rock like hearts into compassionate hearts. Because Jesus Christ gave himself as a sacrifice to save us. Jesus Christ bore all our sins on the cross. He died on the cross and rose from death and overcame death. Death came as a result of sin.

As per law sin takes man into death. Sin should not be committed. If sin should not be committed then minds of people should be transformed.

Jesus Christ can transform the minds of people. A transformed person is a peaceful and happy person. His thoughts are clean. A transformed person has fear of God in him.

A transformed person has a mind of Jesus Christ. A carnal mind leads to death. But a transformed mind has life and peace. Eternal life and eternal peace.

Man is searching for life and peace from the world. But Jesus says that he will give eternal life and everlasting peace.

No one can steal the life and peace which Jesus gives. It will be there eternally with you. Even after your death.

5 Loaves and 2 Fishes

Today we can see every servant of God is in need of 5 l & 2 f. Everyone want to feed 5 thousand people. Every heart of the servant of God is the heart of Jesus. Every servant of god want to help people. But, the servant of god is not having 5 l & 2 f.

Jesus was preaching and a multitude of people gathered. They were listening to Jesus for three days. They didn’t have anything to eat. They were hungry. They were hungry in flesh but spiritually they were not hungry. Jesus filled their hearts with all spiritual things. Jesus preached and taught the word of god, he healed people, he casted out devils. He brought peace in people’s hearts.

Jesus won the hearts of the people towards God. At the end everyone were hungry and Jesus when asked for food. A small boy with a good heart gave whatever he had. God blessed it and it was enough for everyone.

Today we see many Christians who have sufficient wealth but they are not ready to give it to God. Their hearts are still not touched by the word of God to give for the work of God. Still they don’t come forward to give 5 l & 2 f.

Word of God has the power to change and influence the hearts of people. You might be serving the lord from a desert place where you don’t have anything. There is no need to worry, word of God has the power to give you 5 l & 2 f.

Repent ye for the Kingdom of God is at Hand

John started his ministry with these words and Jesus started his ministry with these words.

“And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 3:2 KJV

“From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17 KJV

God has compassion towards sinners. People in this world are doing various things to sin against the god.

A drunkard he thinks that there is no sin in him. World is angry with him because he is wasting his money. World has left him saying we can’t do anything with him. But god has a compassion and mercy and grace towards him. God is showing great mercy towards him. Jesus says – I have come to save the sinners and to show them how much I love them. I am giving my blood to save you.

Now you might say what shall I do now to whom shall I repent. Well repent to Jesus. He is our mediator. You should have deep conviction of sin. If you have deep conviction of sin and if you believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and shed his blood, God will no more remember your sins. He will cleanse them as white as snow. If you accept Jesus as your savior and if you repent for your sins and follow his commandments then today is the day.

Now to those of you who already repented, dont you have the thirst to save the world. Is this not our responsibility to save the world. God wants to send the rivers of living water from you to others.

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” John 7:37-38 KJV

Rom8:1 says we should not walk in flesh but we should walk in spirit. Don’t think in flesh. If we think in flesh we will hate sinners but if we think in spirit we will love uttermost sinners. Walking in spirit means leading our life in spirit through the guidance of the spirit of the lord.

Can These Dry Bones Live? You Shall also Live

AS I LIVE SAITH THE LORD

YOU SHALL ALSO LIVE

AS JESUS LIVES WE WILL ALSO LIVE

Ezekiel 37:3 – And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.

Ezekiel was in the midst of the valley full of dry bones. When he saw the dry bones his heart might have gone low. His spirit might have gone low. There was so much dryness. And a question came from God to Ezekiel “Can these dry bones live. In our dry lives can our bones live? Can our broken bones live?

The answer which came from Ezekiel with a low, fearful heart was ‘Thou Knowest Lord’. Lord you only know about it. What can I say and how can I say. You are the creator of all of us. Everything is in your hands.

And God said unto Ezekiel ‘Prophecy upon these Bones’. Say the word of God, say it. Say it on these bones and they will live. When God says a word, God gives a word it will fulfill. It will not go waste. It’s not what we say it’s God who says.

“Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:” – Ezekiel‬ ‭37:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When Gods breathe comes into us we will live. It’s the same breathe which God gave Adam. It’s the same breathe God wants to give us again. That the dry bones may live.

Israel’s situation was worst when they were in Babylon. Their hope was lost. They were as if they went to grave, their flesh was gone. Only bones were there only dry bones.

“By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof. For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. How shall we sing the Lord’s song in a strange land?” Psalms‬ ‭137:1-4‬

People of Israel had a question

Can we Live Again?

Can we come back to the promised land?

Can we come back to God?

God wants to put his spirit in you and take you back. He wants to forgive you and take you back. God has blessed the life’s of people and lands of people.

“And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.” Ezekiel‬ ‭36:35‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus says “…because I live, ye shall live also.” John‬ ‭14:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬
